Jump Off the Weight Plateau
Are
you cruising in high gear but the scale just won?t budge? Here are some
ideas for jumping off of that weight plateau that may have you stuck:
1. Snack. Eat slowly, chew thoroughly and quit
as soon as you’re satisfied, not when it?s all gone. Never stay hungry,
or it could lead to binging or unhealthy snack choices.
2. Add some L-Carnitine.
L-Carnitine
can definitely help burn fat and it works even better with exercise.
3. Put some fun into
your routine.
Walk, mini-trampoline, anything you can (sort of) enjoy.
4. Boost your metabolism.
Thermogenic
agents do work. They are slightly stimulating and can get the job done.
5. Count on Chromium.
It does
help control sugar cravings and help suppress appetite.
6. Don?t skip the most
important meal of the day. Your body may think it?s starving and hoard up on whatever
it gets later. Get real, whole grain cereals (like oatmeal) and don’t
sweeten them for breakfast.
7. Forgo the fruit juices.
Eat whole fruit instead.
8. Some people do not
digest well.
Trying digestive enzymes may be justified, if all else fails.
