How Raisins Can Help Protect Your Prostate
Are
raisins a cancer-fighting food? According to one Dutch study they are.
The
study found that those men who ate at least 1 ounce (1/4 c) of raisins,
or other dried fruits daily, their risk for developing prostate cancer
was lowered by 50%! In an earlier study, performed in 1989, researchers
also saw some potential value in the protection of raisins.
Although
these studies are not fully conclusive, it would not hurt to add an
ounce of raisins to your daily diet, just in case.
