Benicar used for? ��
Benicar is
used to treat high blood pressure in adults. It may be used alone or with other
medicines that treat high blood pressure.
Who should not take
Benicar? � Do not take Benicar if you are
allergic to Benicar or to any of the ingredients in Benicar. Special Warning with Benicar:
Do not take Benicar if you are
pregnant. If you get pregnant while taking Benicar, stop taking Benicar right
away and call your health care provider . Benicar and other medicines like
Benicar can harm your baby. What should I tell my health care provider?
Tell your
health care provider if you:
- are trying to become pregnant, are
already pregnant, or are breast-feeding
- have or had kidney
problems
Tell your
health care provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription
and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Especially
tell your health care provider if you are taking duiretics (water
pills).
